FC Luzern 2 – AC Bellinzona 1
Goals: Chiumento (penalty), Chiumento
FC Aarau 1 – FC Luzern 2
Goals: Yakin, Chiumento
Beating the two poorest team in the league 2-1 may on paper not look that impressive. But since these are the first back-to back league victories since August we should be very happy with the team.
To cap a great week Davide Chiumento has been called up to play for the Swiss national side in tomorrows friendly against Uruguay. This call up is totally deserved and hopefully Davide will get at least 45 minutes to show the rest of Switzerland what we in Luzern already know. Congratulations.
The top of the table now reads as follows:
1 BSC Young Boys 50
2 FC Basel 1893 46
3 FC Luzern 38
4 FC St. Gallen 29
Basel seems to be playing much better than YB currently. The Young Boys somehow manages to undeservedly stumble to three points despite playing poorly. Basel is right now easily my pick for this year’s championship.
A realistic goal for us right now seems to be to be able to hold on to the third place, but if YB starts to stumble we could maybe hope for even better.
Thanks Richard for the fantastic Bellinzona photo and LUFC for the match report (we were shit in first half and then we won).

nice pic:-)
cu at the Basel-Match!!
we go for another three points
